Gifting Programs
The Rising Tide Gift
The Rising Tide gift is our largest gift. We only give one of these gifts of up to $400,000 each year to an organization chosen by our Board of Directors. This is our largest example of our dedication to our mandate of helping organizations that benefit women and humanitarian causes.
The Uplift Gift
Our Uplift gift is our program for smaller gifts up to $55,000. These are designed to help smaller programs get fully off the ground. The number of gifts given each year is decided by our board of directors.
The Manifest Concierge Catalog
Our newest gifting program! This gifting-in-kind program seeks to give more than just a lump sum of money. This program allows nonprofits access to a catalog of experts in grant writing, marketing, design, finance, and more — all at no cost to the nonprofit itself.
How to Apply
If you would like to apply for your 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to receive one of these gifts, click the button below. You will be prompted to create an account which will allow you to fill out our general application. Once we have reviewed your general application and decided your organization fits our mandate, we will invite you to apply to the program we believe best fits your needs.
We accept applications from NGOs that serve anywhere in the world. However, we are currently prioritizing applications for nonprofits that operate in the United States or Asia. We will be expanding to other continents in the coming years. Any applications from nonprofits that mainly work outside of the US and Asia will be held until the DJHD Foundation expands to that continent. You will not need to apply a second time.
If you have any questions about this process, please email apply@thedjhdfoundation.com
Application Timeline
Applications are gathered on a rolling basis, so submit your application any time. We review applications submitted from July-July. That means applications submitted before July 1 will be considered for programs in the following year. Applications submitted July 1 or after will be considered for entry into programs two years on. So an application submitted July 5, 2030 and February 1, 2031 will both be considered for programs run in 2032 and should be hearing back from the DJHD Foundation in Q3 of 2031. An application submitted August 7, 2031 will be considered for programs run in 2033 and can expect to be hearing back from the DJHD Foundation in Q3 of 2032.
